Here's everything you need to know about Alden Richards' upcoming virtual reality concert

Kapusos all over the world will have the chance to stream the Philippines' first-ever virtual reality concert, “Alden’s Reality.”

This one-of-a-kind audiovisual event on Dec. 8 gives fans the ultimate chance to go on a special date with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.

It's definitely one of the most exciting happenings of the year, so here's everything you need to know before putting on that VR device:

It's Alden's anniversary gift

"Alden's Reality" is happening on the 8th of December, which marks Alden's 10th year in showbiz.

The multi-awarded actor, singer, host, model and online game streamer is best known for many hit films and TV dramas like "Hello, Love, Goodbye,""The Gift" and, of course, the sensational "Eat Bulaga" phenomenon Kalyeserye.

The concert-goer will get to see Alden “up close”

Concerts are one thing, but virtual reality is another.

Apart from singing and dancing, Alden will be interacting with the concert-goer. Filmed in 360 degrees and viewed through a special VR device, the Kapuso heartthrob will appear as though he was a few inches away and talking directly to you.

Alden has a new song for you

In a recent Zoom conference, Alden revealed that he will be performing an all-new original song for his fans at the concert.

Not only that: The show is directed by Paolo Valenciano who has overseen some of the country’s most talked-about concerts like the “Sweetheart and the Balladeer” with Julie Anne San Jose and Christian Bautista, as well as “1 For 3” with Aicelle Santos, Mark Bautista and Christian Bautista.

How can I watch?

“Alden’s Reality” is happening on December 8 (9 p.m.  and 11 p.m.) and on December 9 (10 a.m.)

Tickets can be purchased by logging on to www.gmanetwork.com/synergy.

Tickets are priced at P999 for general admission and P1,200 for VIP (which includes an exclusive VR device) for Philippine ticket buyers.

Non-Philippine based buyers can avail of the general admission ticket at P999.
