Robert de Niro's 'The Comeback Trail' is set to premiere in the Philippines this February 2021

"The Comeback Trail," starring veteran actors Robert de Niro and Morgan Freeman, is set to premiere in cinemas nationwide in February 2021.

The action-comedy film follows the journey of two producers who plan to kill their movie star in the hopes of earning from an insurance scam and pay their debt to a scary mob boss.

"To jumpstart the Filipino movie-going culture before the year closes," the film's partner TBA Studios is set to release the all-star movie through special advance screenings, drive-in cinemas and regular cinema screenings.

Directed by George Gallo, the film also stars Zach Braff, and Tommy Lee Jones. It is set to premiere on February 17, 2021 alongside its US release.
