Bianca Umali admits feeling challenged by her role in cultural drama 'Legal Wives'

Bianca Umali admitted that she has a challenging role in GMA's upcoming cultural drama series "Legal Wives."

The Kapuso actress will play the third wife of a Muslim Maranao royalty, who will be played by Dennis Trillo.

It will be her first role with a spouse in her career, and she is doing it alongside Alice Dixson and Andrea Torres, to boot.

"Hindi po biro 'yung role, hindi biro 'yung project," Bianca said in Aubrey Carampel's report for "24 Oras."

"It's a sensitive show and very intriguing and the fact that they considered me or they gave me the role of the third wife, I was very thankful," she added.

Written by Suzette Doctolero and directed by Zig Dulay, the series on Monday shared a sneak peek of the show's three brides.

"Legal Wives" will also star Starstruck alumni Shayne Sava and Abdul Rahman. Other members of the cast include Bernard Palanca, Cherie Gil, Kevin Santos, and Al Tantay.
