Mariel Rodriguez dismisses 'baseless gossip' surrounding husband Robin Padilla and Mocha Uson
Mariel Rodriguez is shutting down all the "baseless rumors" linking her husband Robin Padilla to Mocha Uson.
In an Instagram post, she said "now is not that time" to be "assholes" as Robin's brother just passed away.
"So many people are sending me messages... 'checking' on me. People are tagging me bla bla bla... let me tell you this. ROBIN’S BROTHER PASSED AWAY. He is grieving. He has never been in so much pain all his life. He doesn’t need your baseless gossip," she wrote.
"Namatayan ng kapatid yung asawa ko. Please lang po. He doesn’t even know anything about all this rumor but i am putting a stop to this NOW. May oras para maging assholes now is not that time. Please," she added.
Mariel also laughed off an Instagram comment in an earlier post asking for her reaction to the circulating rumor that Mocha is pregnant and Robin is the father.
"Sis ano masasabi mo na buntis daw si Mocha at si Robin ang tatay?" user catalinaraaaawdriguez asked in a post where Mariel showed off her weight loss.
Mariel simply replied with a string of laughing with tears emojis.
"Robin" is currently among the top trends in Twitter Philippines with over 47,000 tweets. "Mocha" is also trending with over 14,000 tweets.
