'Centerstage' set to return this February with a virtual set

"Centerstage" has come up with a way to ensure the safety of its contestants amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The reality singing competition for kids will return very soon—this time with a virtual set.

With this, the children will perform at the comfort of their homes with the judges and mentors evaluating them from the studio.

"Abangan kung paano ang isang bata nag-perform sa bukid sa Bulacan ay makakalaban 'yung bata na nasa Tandang Sora,” Program Manager Charles Koo said in a press conference.

Judge Pops Fernandez said the set exceeded her expectations and made her feel like it's "magic."

The show will air its remaining three episodes starting February 7 then will reveal a "fresh" and techie look starting February 28. —MGP, GMA News
