'Bridgerton' actor Regé-Jean Page to star in new ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ film — reports

After capturing the audience as the dashing Duke of Hastings in “Bridgerton,” Regé-Jean Page is set to star in an upcoming film adaptation of “Dungeons and Dragons.”

According to Variety, the fantasy adventure will also star Chris Pine (“Wonder Woman”), Michelle Rodriguez (“The Fast and the Furious”) and Justice Smith (“Jurassic World”).

“Dungeons and Dragons” is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game (RPG) that takes place in a world filled with swords, sorcery and mighty heroes who battle monsters.

Variety has learned that Paramount and Hasbro/eOne are jointly producing the film, but the report did not specify which role Page will be playing.

Page is a British-Zimbabwean actor known for his breakout role as Simon Bassett a.k.a. the Duke of Hastings in Netflix's hit series “Bridgerton.”
