What is up with Cassy Legaspi, Darren Espanto, and cup noodles?

Fans are speculating that something's a-brewin' between Cassy Legaspi and singer Darren Espanto after the two figured in a cute Twitter conversation about cup noodles of all things.

A few days before Valentine's Day, Darren posted a poll on the social media site asking his followers whether or not they will prepare cup noodles for the person they love, should that person ask them.

Apart from answering yes and no, plenty people replied to Darren — among them, the Legaspi twins. While Mavy made a joke, Cassy's answer earned a reply from the singer, who is currently in Canada.

"I would in a heartbeat," Cassy said, to which Darren replied, "you just said you wouldn't."

Shortly after, Cassy tweeted her followers a "good evening except for the guy who still thinks I wouldn’t make cup noodles for the person I love."

"For real, I feel sad for the guy," Darren once again replied to Cassy.

Cut to Valentine's Day, when Cassy made a joke and called her job "the love of her life" before finally leaving the locked-in taping for the "First Yaya."

Apart from the sweet welcome home surprise from her family — complete with flowers and balloons! — Cassy it seems was also welcomed with a bouquet of sunflowers and...cup noodles.

On Twitter, Carmina and Zoren's girl posted several photos of her gifticles, greeted her followers a Happy Valentine's Day and said, "'wag na maging tampo. Gawa na lang kayo ng cup noodles for the person you love."

Curiously, there was no reply from Darren, this time.

Instead, Cassy's followers eager to ship the two screengrabbed from her Instagram Stories where she thanked Darren for the pizza that she and her family enjoyed that night.

Interestingly as well, the welcome home surprise made it to both Instagram and Twitter, but the cup noodles post? It remained on Cassy's Twitter account.

We reached out to Cassy's management team and will update this story shortly, should there be any updates, that is. — LA, GMA News
