After Alex Gonzaga pranks her with luxury bag and shoes, Sexy Hipon Herlene gets emotional

Alex Gonzaga recently pulled a prank on Herlene “Sexy Hipon” Budol that made the comedienne think twice about buying luxury brand items.

In her latest vlog, Gonzaga took Herlene to a mall where she bought her a Gucci bag and a pair of shoes as gifts.

Herlene was so touched by Alex's gesture that she teared up at the counter.

“Deserve mo ‘yan kasi nagta-trabaho ka para sa pamilya mo," Alex told Herlene."‘Yung mga gusto mong bilhin, dapat nakabili ka na niyan sa laki ng kinita mo pero di ka nakabili kasi inuna mo yung family mo."

(You deserve it because you’ve worked so hard for your family. You could have easily bought stuff you wanted with the money you’ve made, but you always chose to put family first.)

After a while, Gonzaga's “accomplice” tells Herlene that Alex unknowingly went over budget so the "Wowowin" host had to shell out some money.

"May babayaran ako? Wala akong pera, ah? (Do I have to pay? I don't have any money)” Herlene said, frozen.

She then offered to return the items Gonzaga paid for, but Alex was able to reason with her.

"Hindi puwede, kasi masisira yung vlog (You can't. It would ruin the vlog)," Gonzaga told Herlene.

And so, Herlene called someone to borrow money from, and broke down into tears inside the mall.

"Ayoko na ng Gucci, 'te (I don't want Gucci anymore)" she told Gonzaga while crying.

Finally, Gonzaga came clean and told Herlene it was only a prank and that she was really going to go home with the luxury items.

The vlog ended with Alex leading her to a restaurant where their companions were waiting to eat.
