GMA shows are coming to iQiyi — here's everything you need to know!

From the hot new rom-com "First Yaya" to the much-awaited cultural drama "Legal Wives," Kapusos can now watch their favorite GMA shows on iQiyi.

The network just sealed an exciting multi-year partnership with the on-demand streaming platform, making Kapuso dramas the first Filipino content ever to be available on the service.

GMA Network and iQiyi officially announced the partnership on April 29. Here's everything you need to know:

What's iQiyi, and how can I get it?

IQiyi is an on-demand online movie and video streaming website that offers a wide array of content, including Asian TV dramas, movies, and anime. It's even going to livestream the upcoming Miss Universe coronation event in May!

And now, Kapusos can watch the latest episodes of some of the newest Kapuso dramas anytime, anywhere.

Not only that  — Fresh episodes will be uploaded on the website within 24 hours express from TV airing.

This way, viewers can catch up on their shows right away, and watch them again and again without any ads.

Access is really easy, too: Just download iQiyi from the app store, or log on to iQ.com.

Subscribers can enjoy premium content for only P99 per month.

Users have the option to sign up for a standard membership, which is ideal for personal use since it allows access to VIP content on two screens simultaneously.

Those who want to watch Kapuso shows with their families don't need to worry: A premium membership allows access to VIP content on four screens simultaneously.

What Kapuso shows can I expect on iQiyi?

Full episodes of GMA’s romantic comedy “First Yaya” starring Sanya Lopez and Gabby Concepcion are now available on iQiyi.

Some of the network's biggest upcoming shows will also be some of the first Pinoy titles to be streamed on the platform.

The initial lineup includes "Legal Wives," a breakthrough cultural drama series starring Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo, together with Alice Dixson, Andrea Torres, and Bianca Umali.

IQiyi subscribers will also get to watch GMA's TV adaptation of the 1988 award-winning film "Nagbabagang Luha” starring Glaiza de Castro; and "Love You Stranger," a romance-mystery mini-series headlined by real-life Kapuso couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos.

"Believe me when I say that we're only scratching the surface," Sherwin Dela Cruz, iQiyi country manager for the Philippines, said during the media launch. "There's much, much, much more things to look out for."
