This song just went on a full 6-week streak at #1 on Spotify's Philippines Top 50 Chart

Zack Tabudio's "Binibini" made a new record on Spotify after it stayed in the #1 spot of the streaming platform's Philippines Top 50 Chart for six consecutive weeks, through the months of April and May.

Apart from topping the charts, "Binibini" also gained global footing by being on the top charts in the Global Viral Charts for four consecutive weeks.

The song also made it to the Viral 50 charts internationally including Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, and UAE.

According to Spotify, the 19-year-old artist was added to Spotify RADAR Philippines, "a global program unearthing emerging artists, spotlighting their work on the global stage and connecting them with new audiences."

Following the huge listenership on RADAR Philippines and OPM Rising playlists, his song "Binibini" made its way to the OPM playlist "Tatak Pinoy" and scored a spot in flagship playlist "Hot Hit Philippines."

"Binibini" is Zack's best performing track on Spotify. It has more than 18.3 million streams since its release — and counting.

In a press statement, Zack said "Binibini is inspired by a previous relationship that left a lasting mark on my life."

"It expresses a powerful and indescribable attraction between two lovers, who are waiting for the right moment to show their true feelings," he added.

Spotify Asia’s Head of Music Kossy Ng said the RADAR program was launched early 2020 with the aim to amplify the reach of emerging local artists.

Meanwhile, Zack's 2020 single "Nangangamba" is also making waves as it entered charts for the first time following Binibini's launch placed at #5 on the Philippines Top 50 and #1 on the Global Viral 50 charts with 11.37 million streams to date.

Zack signed with the Island Records Philippines/MCA Music.

Other Filipino local artists on the RADAR Philippines program include Alisson Shore, Alamat, BGYO, Elle Sabastian, Rob Deniel, Nathan and Mercury, covering a full spectrum of genres such as hip-hop, indie folk and much more.
