John Lloyd Cruz appeared in this GMA-7 show 20 years ago

John Lloyd Cruz had been on a showbiz hiatus for four years, but did you know that he once appeared in a GMA Network show?

According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, the matinee idol appeared in the horror-fantasy series "Kakabakaba" which aired in 2000.

John Lloyd was a guest in the episode called "Sumalangit Nawa," with Rio Locsin, Danica Sotto, Danilo Barrios, and Janus del Prado as his co-stars, according to a PEP.ph report.

The actor made his television comeback last week when he appeared alongside "Wowowin" host Willie Revillame in an e-shopping platform's special.

It was his first appearance on television since 2017, and it looks like there will be more to come.

John Lloyd recently met with GMA Films President and programming consultant to the GMA chairman Annette Gozon-Valdes and director Edgar "Bobot" Mortiz and discussed two possible projects with the network.
