Andrea Torres renews contract with GMA Network: ‘I’m so proud to be a Kapuso’

After more than 10 beautiful years, Andrea Torres is still a Kapuso!

The stunning, sexy, and versatile actress officially renewed her contract with GMA Network on Friday, July 16, 2021.

“I’m so proud to be a Kapuso,” she said during the virtual signing. 

The actress also turned emotional at one point, saying the signing was not only a renewal “but rather a celebration of all the things I’ve always dreamed of since I was a little girl.”

Andrea also thanked her bosses at GMA for “taking a chance” on her many years ago by giving her her first lead appearance that launched her career.

“It was a dual role for the remake of ‘Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga,’ and my life has never been the same since,” Andrea recalled.

“From almost giving up trying to prove that I deserved a spot in the industry, GMA completely and pleasantly changed the course of my life,” she said. 

Present during Andrea’s online signing were GMA executives led by Mr. Felipe S. Yalong, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; Ms. Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group; Ms. Redgie A. Magno; First Vice President for Drama; Atty. The Kapuso actress is set to star on GMA network’s groundbreaking cultural drama “Legal Wives,” alongside Kapuso Drama Prince Dennis Trillo, “Sahaya” star Bianca Umali, and the one and only Alice Dixson. – RC, GMA News
