The actor added that to be considered for the role is already a huge thing.

“To be considered for a project [this] special, how can you say no? It is so wonderful that this opportunity was given [to me]. I am very grateful,” he said.

According to Xian, he did not have to consult his girlfriend Kim Chiu about this new chapter of his career.

“We have come to realize at this point [in our] relationship that we grow as a couple and we grow as individuals,” he told GMA News Online. “I already know we support each other in that aspect.”

Xian officially became a Kapuso last week and has been receiving numerous messages of support from fans, much to his delight.

“They’re warmly welcoming me sa Kapuso network. I’m just really happy and overwhelmed with joy sa lahat ng nangyayari. Nakakatuwa na positive ang feedback ng lahat,” he told the press.
