K Brosas files complaint vs house contractor for abandoning project worth P7 million
Comedienne K Brosas has filed a complaint against a contractor for allegedly abandoning the construction of her house worth P7 million.
On Instagram, Friday, K expressed her heartbreak and dismay after seeing her dream home slip away.
Worse, she already paid the contractor for the house.
["It's sad because even though I've given a huge amount of money and I've already finished paying the whole amount, more or less P7 million... the said house was abandoned by someone I trusted."]
["Perhaps you'll understand me because I worked hard for the money which came from blood, sweat and, lack of sleep."]
K said she decided to file an official complaint and thanked the lawyers who helped her.
"Napilitan akong maghain ng demanda kaninang tanghali sa tulong ng mga abogado ko at testigo ko," she said. I hope justice will be served at the end of the day."
["I was forced to file a complaint this afternoon with the help of my lawyers and witnesses. I still believe in our justice system. I hope justice will be served at the end of the day."]
According to K, she reached out to the contractor years ago as she wanted to be saved from the hassle of not owning her own house.
["I hired someone to build my house because I want to avoid huge expenses from paying rent for a townhouse and condominium unit. In my years of being an artist, I'm only having my own home built now."]
The comedienne said she suffered a lot because of what happened with the contractor, saying how she would often hide her own emotions when she's in front of people.
"Ilang beses akong nakiusap, umiyak at humingi ng tulong, pero wala pa ding nangyari. Alam lahat ng kaibigan ko kung ilang beses na 'kong nag-breakdown, napadalas uli ang anxiety attacks ko dahil sa sobrang stress," she said.
["I begged, cried, and asked for help lots of times, but nothing happened. All my friends know how much I've broke down, my anxiety attacks have been happening a lot because of stress."]
["I'm always happy when I'm at work but others don't know that when I'm not in front of the camera, my depression weighs down on me because that dream house was also for my child."]
