'Voltes V: Legacy' director teases first look at Prince Zardoz, Zandra

Direk Mark Reyes is back with another "Voltes V: Legacy" teaser!

On Instagram, Sunday, the director shared a photo showing a peek at Prince Zardoz and Zandra in costume.

The image showed a man with his back to the camera, his shirt bearing the words "space invaders." On his shoulders were two hands in costume, one pink and one blue, featuring fancy arm candies.

"The real space invaders. First peek at Zandra and Zardoz," Reyes wrote.

Previously, Reyes showed a photo of Prince Zardoz's iconic sword up close.

Martin del Rosario will give life to Prince Zardoz, the leader of Boazania who wishes to conquer Earth. Playing his unrequited lover Zandra, meanwhile, is Liezel Lopez.

Martin and Liezel will join Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, and Raphael Landicho on the highly-anticipated live-action adaptation of the series.

"Voltes V: Legacy" dropped a teaser video in January it has since received more than a million views on YouTube.

The adaptation of the iconic anime was licensed by Japan's Toei Company Ltd. through the Philippine-based Telesuccess Productions.
