Dingdong Dantes welcomes Kuya Kim Atienza to the Kapuso network

Dingdong Dantes officially welcomed Kuya Kim Atienza to the Kapuso network!

On Instagram, Monday, Dingdong shared a photo of the two of them together inside the GMA Network premises doing a heart pose.

"Not many may know this, but I have always given so much value and importance to the many occasions where Kuya Kim wholeheartedly welcomed me into communities that have changed my life—from running, to our love for motorcycles and even spirituality," Dingdong wrote.

"Ni minsan, hindi siya naging madamot sa pagbabahagi ng kaniyang kaalaman, passion at pananaw sa kung ano ang nararapat at kailangan," he added.

["Not once did he refuse to share his knowledge, passion, and insight on the things that are necessary."]

Dingdong said his nickname "Kuya" fits him well not because it's his screen name but because he sees him as an older brother.

"KA-EM, because we belong to the same riding group. Ka-GOTTA, because we belong to the same health and wellness circle. KUMPADRE dahil siya ay Ninong ng aking anak," he said.

Dingdong ended his note with a warm welcome to his friend and now fellow Kapuso.

"But today, I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome you into a place that I have considered home for the past decades," he wrote.

"Kaya Kuya, kumpadre, welcome! Ngayon, matatawag na rin kitang KAPUSO," he added.

Kuya Kim's move to the Kapuso network was announced on Monday. He will be on "24 Oras," "Mars Pa More," and GTV's upcoming news magazine show "Dapat Alam Mo!"
