Alice Dixson to join the cast of GMA-7's upcoming show 'First Lady'

Alice Dixson announced she is officially joining GMA-7's upcoming show "First Lady," the sequel of the hit series "First Yaya."

On Instagram, Alice shared a photo of herself looking fresh in a floral dress.

"I am also pleased to announce my participation in the upcoming GMA Teleserye #FirstLady which starts principal photography next week," Alice wrote in the caption.

The actress also took the opportunity to give a shout out to the cast and crew of her ongoing GMA-7 show "Legal Wives."

"Stay safe to my new cast mates and to my Legal Wives family, I’m so proud of our show and how we sustained our top ratings. To our dear fans, please keep us there til the end!" she said.

Last October, Sanya Lopez teased the upcoming show "First Lady" by sharing a photo that contained two images of herself: in one photo, she was dressed in a maid's uniform while in the other, she was dressed in a beautiful white dress.

The poster read, "Our first yaya is now our first lady!"

Using the hashtag "First Lady," Sanya wrote, "Parang panaginip lang ang lahat ng 'to."

"First Yaya," which aired in the earlier part of 2021, features Gabby Concepcion, Cassy Legaspi, Maxine Medina and Kakai Bautista. It revolves around a nanny who finds herself developing a relationship with the Philippine president as she serves his family.

Although no other details of the project have been released, Sanya's post promised that "First Lady" will soon arrive on GMA-7. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
