Bea Alonzo to John Lloyd Cruz: 'Totoo yata 'yung sinabi nila na magkadugtong 'yung bituka nating dalawa'

Bea Alonzo welcomed her good friend and former love team John Lloyd Cruz to the Kapuso family.

The actor officially signed a contract with GMA Network on Tuesday, November 9, and received warm greetings from his fellow actors and actresses.

"Hi Idan, ito na naman tayo, magkasama nanaman tayo mukhang totoo yata 'yung sinabi nila na  magkadugtong yung bituka nating dalawa," Bea said in her video message.

"I cannot wait for everyone to see and experience the greatness of a John Lloyd Cruz just like I did through the years," she added.

John Lloyd will be starring on a new show titled "Happy Together" on GMA-7 directed by Direk Bobot Bobot Mortiz. The actor himself will also be part of the production team as the creative director.

"You know that I will forever be your biggest fan and congratulations for your new show and I will see you very very soon," Bea said.

Meanwhile, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes also expressed his excitement over having the actor in GMA-7.

"When we first heard that John Lloyd is going to do a project with GMA hindi namin matago ang aming excitement because siyempre siya ay isa sa mga talented actor na meron tayo sa industriya and we are happy he is back on screen," he said.

"Kaya sure ako 'yung show na 'Happy Together' will be different because of his creative inputs. Kaya congratulations on the new show and welcome to the Kapuso Network," he added.

Other stars who also warmly welcomed John Lloyd include Barbie Forteza, Gabbi Garcia, Ruru Madrid, Alden Richards, Sanya Lopez, Marian Rivera, Julie Anne San Jose, AiAi delas Alas, Pokwang, and Bianca Umali among others.

After watching the video messages, John Lloyd expressed hope that they could work together on future projects.

"May isang napasama dun hindi ko pa siya kilala si Ms. Bea Alonzo sana po makatrabaho ko po kayo para malaman ko kung talagang nakatali 'yung bituka natin," John Lloyd joked.

"Sana mabigyan tayong lahat ng opportunity to work together. Kay Sanya also. Sana madalaw n'yo kami sa Happy Together," he said.

The actor made his return on television through GMA-7's "Wowowin" as Willie Revillame's co-host for an e-commerce special last June.

During the event, John Lloyd was teary-eyed during his short interview with Willie about his comeback.
