As a Miss Universe judge, Marian Rivera is looking forward to these three things

Marian Rivera is super excited to fulfill her duties as a judge at the 70th Miss Universe pageant!

In an interview with "Unang Hirit," the Kapuso Primetime Queen said she looks forward to meeting the candidates in order to see not only their beauty, but their their bravery and humanity, as well.

"Ayaw kong sabihin na may hinahanap ako, pero mas excited ako na pumunta doon para mas para mas ma-appreciate ko at masaksihan ang mga kagandahan ng mga kababaihan sa iba't ibang panig ng mundo," Marian said.

[I don't want to say I'm looking for something particular but I'm excited to go to Jerusalem to appreciate and bear witness to the beauty of womanhood across the world.] 

"Siguro, hindi lang 'yung kagadandahan nila, kung 'di siguro 'yung tapang din nila na maibalik ang humanity sa ating mundo sa kabila ng mga radikal na pagbabago na nangyari sa atin dahil sa pandemya," she added."

"So I'm very excited na makilala silang lahat!"

[Maybe it's also not just their beauty but their bravery to bring back the humanity in the world, after all the radical changes we've experienced because of the pandemic.]

Marian Rivera is set to attend several Miss Universe activities in Jerusalem before a new queen is crowned on December 12.

During the press reveal last week, Marian said she felt thankful and honored to be chosen for such a rare opportunity so she accepted the task wholeheartedly.

"Minsan ka lang siguro mabigyan ng pagkakataong makabilang sa isang mahalagang okasyon kung saan doon magsasama sama [lahat], at syempre, bitbit mo 'yung bandila ng [Pilipinas]," the actress said.

"So, para sa akin, isang malaking karangalan siya, kaya naman buong-buong puso ko talaga tong tinanggap," she said.

[We don't get a chance often to take part in an important occasion where the rest of the world will come together, where you get to represent your country. So it's a big honor for me and that's why I accepted it.]
