Thia Thomalla has officially ended her journey in pageantry.

In an online interview with the press Tuesday, the Miss Eco International 2018 said she no no longer has plans to join pageants including Miss Universe Philippines.

“Nung 2020 talaga dapat yung comeback ko and sad to say, God has other plans for me. Tanggap ko na yung reason, [yung] path Niya para sa akin. I’m really happy (with) where I’m at right now,” she said.

“I’m turning 27 this month, so papunta na sa disqualification age kaya hindi na talaga pwede kaya mag-move on na tayo. Wala na po akong plans,” she added.

According to Thia, she will now just focus on her showbiz career with GMA Network. She will reprise of her role as PSG Val in “First Lady,” the sequel of “First Yaya.” It will premiere on February 14.

Last year, Thia revealed her plans of  joining the Miss World Philippines pageant for a second time. However, she was already in lock-in taping during the competition’s first screening. — LA, GMA News
