Jeric Gonzales releases new single 'Hihintayin Kita' composed by Direk Louie Ignacio

Jeric Gonzales released his new single "Hihintayin Kita" composed by Direk Louie Ignacio.

In an interview with the internal press of GMA Network, Jeric revealed that the song is also for his film "Broken Blooms" which is also directed by Direk Louie.

"Konting trivia lang nung nag-kekwentuhan kami tungkol dito na-found out ko na marami na pala siyang na-compose  before and dream niya talaga maging singer and composer," Jeric narrated.

"At ito doon ko nalaman na during the film, while nagshu-shoot kami parang may kinuha siyang paper at ballpen 'yun pala nag-susulat na siya ng kanta that time so nagulat ako," he added.

Jeric said the song was written impromptu and it is about his character Jeremy from "Broken Blooms."

"I am honored and thankful na during the film ako yung nag-lead sa film tapos ako pa yung kumanta ng theme song," he added. 

In the same interview, Jeric revealed that he also wants to release songs that he personally wrote someday.

The much-awaited film is set to premiere during the Director's Week competition program of the festival from April 1 to 10, 2022.

"Hihintayin Kita" is released under GMA Music and is now available in all digital music outlets. —JAB, GMA News.
