Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes have been married for seven years, but it looks like they will replay their early days as lovebirds as their on-screen love team returns on television.

In GMA-7's upcoming sitcom "Jose and Maria's Bonggang Villa," the Kapuso Primetime King and Queen will play newlyweds who will open a garden inn.

It will be DongYan's first team up in 10 years, and they are looking forward to making their fans "kilig" again.

"Malamang dito makikita n'yo na mukhang nagliligawan na naman kaming dalawa," Marian told the press. "Sinisiguro namin na magiging masaya ang Sabado nila tuwing panonoorin kami."

("You'll see that it's like we're in the courtship phase again. We assure you that your Saturdays would be happy while watching our show.")

Despite not sharing a scene together for a long time, Dingdong said they unlocked another aspect to their relationship, both personal and professional, when they worked amid the pandemic.

Marian taped the episodes of "Tadhana" at home, with Dingdong behind the camera and their children Zia and Sixto occasionally helping them.

"Kahit nasa isang bubong kami, para talaga kaming nagtatrabaho and very dynamic kung ano 'yung kailangan ko binibigay niya, kung ano 'yung kailangan niya binibigay ko," Dingdong said.

("Even though we're under the same roof, it's as if we were really working and it's very dynamic. She gives what I need and I give what she needs.")

"Sa madaling salita, mas lalo kaming na-in-love sa isa't isa and looking forward na magtrabaho kami outside," Marian added.

("In other words, we fell in love with each other even more and we're looking forward to work together outside.")

"Jose and Maria's Bonggang Villa" is directed by John Lapuz. Joining DongYan in the cast are Pekto, Zonia Mejia, Jamir Zabarte, many more.
