Dingdong Dantes honored as one of the Top 30 'Most Successful Self-Made Man'

Dingdong Dantes has been honored as one of the Top 30 "Most Successful Self-Made Man" by a Dubai-based award giving body Prodigy Global Network.

A report on Unang Balita on Monday said the Kapuso Primetime King was listed among two other Filipinos namely Dr. Rex Bacarra and Romeo Agregado.

Aside from Dingdong, GMA Ventures Inc President and COO Regie Bautista was also awarded as one of the "Exemplary women with the difference maker award."

In a video posted on Prodigy Global Network, Dingdong gave a short speech about him being named as one of the awardees.

In his message, Dingdong mentioned the people whom he dedicates the award to.

"This recognition is also for those who have served as my inspiration," he said. "This is for the courageous and selfless uniformed personnel in the Philippines especially the navy and the marines."


"It is also for the hopeful and hardworking partner beneficiaries of our 12-year-old  foundation and our growing community of new tech and logistic enterprise," he added. "And of course this is dedicated to my family, my wife, my 2 kids who have always been my driving course."

Towards the end of the video, Dingdong defined what it means to be successful for him.

"I define success as being part of the journey and progress of the people surrounding me. I am who I am because of these relationships and opportunities," he said.

Aside from being an actor, Dingdong is also the founder of YesPinoy Foundation and is also an entrepreneur who owns logistics start-up called Dingdong PH—JAB, GMA News.
