Julie Anne San Jose's 'Limitless: A Musical Trilogy' is the Silver Winner at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards


Julie Anne San Jose's "Limitless: A Musical Trilogy" is the Silver Winner at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards.

According to GMA Synergy's announcement on Wednesday, the musical trilogy won silver under the Entertainment Variety Special Category.

"From Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, We are proud of you and the whole Synergy team!" GMA Synergy writes. "Thank you for sharing your music, your talent, and your heart, to the Philippines and the world, Julie Anne. You are indeed, Limitless!"

Meanwhile, Julie Anne also expressed her gratitude to those who took part of Limitless' success in a video posted by GMA Synergy.

"Thank you so much for this honor. I would also like to thank GMA Network especially the Synergy for giving me the opportunity to share my passion, my music, my heart, and the  beauty of our country the Philippines to the world," she said.

Julie Anne ended her note with a message to those who joined and believed in her journey.

"Thank you so much to those who took the journey with us who like us believe that we are limitless," she said.

Mariah Carey's "Magical Christmas Special" on AppleTV+ won the gold and grand awards in the same category. PBS' "2021 A Capital Fourth" won bronze.

Meanwhile, several other Kapuso documentaries also bagged prizes at the prestigious awards: " The Atom Araullo Specials: Young Arms" took home gold in the the Documentary/Social Issues category, while "i-Witness: Crown of Thorns" won bronze in the Documentary/Climate Change category. "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho: Ranelyn's Dress" bagged the bronze award in the Documentary/Health and Medical Information category. The 'i-Witness: Virus Hunters" was a finalist for Documentary/Science and Technology category.
