In her bittersweet tribute to Fanny Serrano, Kiray Celis recalls how she met her 'fairy godmother'

Fanny Serrano passed away on Tuesday night and on Instagram Wednesday morning, Kiray Celis paid a bittersweet tribute to the celebrity makeup artist.

Posting photos of the two of them, Kiray said it was actually Fanny who sought her out after she landed in a worst dressed list.

"Saan nga ba tayo nagkakilala?" the commedienne began.

"Actually pinahanap po ako ni Tito Fanny. May nabasa daw kasi siyang article na binu-bully ako sa make up at nalagay ako sa worst dress [sic] sa isang ball. At dun na nagsimula ang lahat," Kiray wrote.

After saying she will miss her "fairy godmother." Kiray reiterated how much she loves her "Tito Fanny."

"Mahal na mahal kita. Sobra! I love you, Tf! Rest in peace," Kiray ended her note.

Fanny Serrano died at the age 74 on Tuesday night. According to his daughter Maktin, the popular makeup artist died peacefully in his sleep.

Fanny suffered a massive stroke in 2021 and has been recuperating since.
