Yes, “Bubble Gang” has new offerings to make Friday nights more enjoyable even after 25 years!

As it begins its new chapter this Friday, the longest-running Kapuso gag show introduces four new segments that are filled with humor, relatability, and hilariousness.

First on the list is “Maritess United” for that dose of chika as gossip-mongers band together like a team of superheroes to get the latest and hottest tea.

There’s also “Bes Friends,” which circles on gal pals Ella and Olivia. Like any other pair of friends, they make sure to share juicy tidbits about people around them and just anything under the sun.

Meanwhile, “Istambays” is a feel-good segment brought by friendly bystanders who hang around at the neighborhood sari-sari store and sing about whatever, ’cause why not?

Lastly, the “Patibong” introduces Glen Gatchalian, who comes up with the most unique traps to help his complainants capture their suspects. Will the bad people bite? You’ll have to come watch and find out.

With “Bubble Gang” airing for decades now, its new director Frasco Mortiz said among its secrets was its ability to “change with the times” and evolve whenever needed.

Michael V. said in a previous interview that they got inspiration for comedy sketches through the show’s symbiotic relationship with society.

Beginning May 27, “Bubble Gang” will also feature new cast members Tuesday Vargas, Kim de Leon, and Dasuri Choi. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
