Sanya Lopez stuns as ‘Hot Maria Clara’ in music video

Debuting with a strong single, Sanya Lopez sizzles in the music video for “Hot Maria Clara.”

Directed by Njel de Mesa who also composed the song, the video shows the“First Lady” star at a gym, a garage, a club-like setting in a pink glitter outfit, and then dressed in a modern gold Filipiniana complete with an abanico.

In this empowering anthem, Sanya sings about having self-love and confidence instead of settling for a no-good guy.

“I’m a hot Maria Clara, demure na dalaga. Boy, you should know my worth,” is followed by the catchy lyric “awra!”

Sanya dances through the chorus with her girl gang, which we can already see as being the next TikTok trend.

“Hot Maria Clara” is the Kapuso actress’ debut single. Released under GMA Music, the song is at No. 3 spot on the iTunes chart and landed on Spotify's Fresh Finds Philippines playlist.
