Ysabel Ortega, Miguel Tanfelix say 'What We Could Be' is a perfect love story for young adults

Ysabel Ortega and Miguel Tanfelix are the duo to watch for in "What We Could Be."

At the online press conference of GMA's newest drama-romance series last week, the pair, dubbed YsaGuel, said "What We Could Be" is an coming-of-age story, perfect for those currently dealing with a lot of "What if's" in their lives.

"Magaan na story but at the same time, maraming makaka-relate sa mga situation [ng characters]," Ysabel, who will play the role of Cynthia, said.

The two are also among the cast members of the highly anticipated "Voltes V: Legacy" and according to the Kapuso actress, their "Voltes V" experience has helped them in this brand new show.

"Naging comfortable na kami working with each other. Alam na namin paano kami sa set," she added.

On the other hand, Miguel, who will portray the character of Franco, said that being their current age has helped them play their roles better.

"Ito yung phase ng young adults na ang dami [pang] uncertainties sa buhay, 'di pa nila kilala masyado yung sarili nila," he said.

The Kapuso actor also said the show would help viewers know more about themselves.

"Ito yung tamang age, early 20's, para pagisipan, kilalanin [pa] lalo 'yung sarili mo," he added.

In the same press conference, Miguel and Ysabel said that while they don't have a label yet, they're very close and happy.
