Inka Magnaye joins ‘Start-Up PH’ as the voice of Good Boy’s AI

Inka Magnaye has been revealed as a cast member of “Start-Up PH!”

The popular voice actor will give life to Maria, Good Boy’s artificial intelligence (AI) device at home.

“Just thinking about how my first role in a teleserye is number one, is something that I love to do, which is voiceovers. Tapos number two, to get to work with these big names who are, you know, household names, respected in the industry, I’m so excited,” Inka said in Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras.”

The report added that in the original series, the male AI is a bit “suplado,” and so Inka is excited to portray a more pleasing role with a character and attitude of its own.

“May pagka-sass kasi siya,” Inka said. “I’m really looking forward to bringing that part out of the voice acting. I’m looking forward to doing the acting part.”

In the future, Inka is also open to working in front of the camera, having done theater when she was younger.

“To be able to practice that, and maybe looking into honing that part of my craft—kasi po diba voice acting, it’s still acting. So I want to do acting naman po to expand my repertoire.”

“Start-Up PH” follows a group of young entrepreneurs with big dreams who are working towards successful careers in business. The series also discusses humble beginnings, hard work, romance, and heartbreak.

Directed by Jerry Sineneng and Dominic Zapata, the star-studded cast members are Bea Alonzo, Alden Richards, Jeric Gonzales, Yasmien Kurdi, Gina Alagar, Lovely Rivero, Gabby Eigenmann, Jackie Lou Blanco, Kevin Santos, and Jojo Alejar, among other actors.
