Winwyn Marquez earns first acting award, believes Baby Luna is her lucky charm

Winwyn Marquez just earned her first acting award and she dedicated it to none other than daughter, Luna.

Posting an adorable video of her baby dancing on Instagram, Winwyn shared the good news that she was awarded the Best Actress in a Feature Film for "Nelia" by the International Film Festival Manhattan.

After being recognized for her talent, Winwyn could not help but look back and realize how this came shortly after Luna became a part of her life.

"I was almost [six] months when I announced my pregnancy during our 'Nelia' Grand Presscon - A&Q Production's first movie, my first title role, and an MMFF2021 official entry," she wrote.

"Now, Luna is almost [six] months old when I found out I won my very first acting award," she added. "Grabe lang ang timing ni God sa lahat. I truly feel He gave me a lucky charm and si Luna 'yon."

Winwyn starred together with Mon Confiado, Vin Abrenica, Raymond Bagatsing, Dexter Doria, Lloyd Samartino, Shido Roxas, and Ali Forbes on "Nelia."

She gave birth to Luna in May. Her father, Joey Marquez, confirmed that she's engaged shortly after.

Congratulations, Winwyn!
