Alden Richards is Esquire Philippines' Entertainer of the Year

Alden Richards has been named Entertainer of the Year by Esquire Philippines.

The “Start-Up PH” star was given the title by the magazine’s Man at his Best Awards, which celebrates the lives and work of men and women in various industries who are reshaping society.

Alden is honored for his work as a multi-hyphenate — actor, model, singer, host, and now as a businessman with his newly launched company, Myriad Entertainment Corporation.

“At this point in his career, he's ready to start focusing on influencing the next generation of artists,” Esquire said on Instagram.

On top of his work as an award-winning actor, Asia’s Multimedia Star is set to record a song for “Start-Up PH.”

Alden’s company is one of the organizations part of the Eraserheads reunion concert in December. Myriad is also set to hold an e-sports tournament in 2023.
