Mikee Quintos breaks down in tears after losing passport in Korea
Mikee Quintos couldn't help but break down in tears after losing her passport in Korea.
In a YouTube vlog, the Sparkle star showed a video of herself tearing up after her family had just flown back to the Philippines.
"Nawawala passport ko. Lumipad na 'yung plane, naiwan na 'ko," she said. "Si Mommy kasi nag-pack ng bags ko dahil pagbalik ko ng room, check out na raw. Siya nag-ayos lahat."
("My passport was missing. The plane took off, I was left behind. Mommy packed the bags because when I returned to the room, we're supposed to check out already.")
"I was so ready to fix my things," she added. "Pag akyat ko ng room, nililinis na 'yung kwarto at wala na lahat ng gamit ko. Hindi ko na na-check 'yung passport ko."
("When I returned to my room, it was already being cleaned and all my things were gone. I was not able to check my passport.")
The next day, Mikee filed a police report, got her photos taken, and went to the Philippine Embassy in Korea to get a new passport.
On the day of her flight two days later, Mikee reminded everyone to not make the same mistakes.
Mikee traveled to Korea with her family. They went on a food trip, rented a Hanbok, visited Itaewon with her friend, and tried the subway for the first time.
Prior to exploring Korea, Mikee explored Paris with Paul Salas.
According to the Philippine Embassy in Korea, requirements for replacement of a lost passport include a police report with English translation, a photocopy of the missing document, and birth certificate.
