Yasmien Kurdi spills the beans on her 'Start-Up PH' co-stars: Makulit, ma-chika, and baby boy

We bet you didn’t know these fun facts about the “Start-Up PH” cast!

In an interview on the “Updated with Nelson Canlas” podcast, Yasmien Kurdi spilled the beans on her co-stars.

She said that Alden Richards, who plays Tristan or Good Boy, is the life of the set.

“Hindi niyo alam na magulo siya sa set,” Yasmien said. “Kung ano yung pino-portray niya as Alden Richards, nagulat ako na hindi pala siya ganun.”

She added that in real life, Alden is “makulit” but in a “jolly na bubbly” way.

As for Bea Alonzo, who plays Dani in the series, Yasmien said that she is very tall. 

“Minsan mas matangkad pa siya sa ibang mga beauty queens. Ganun siya katangkad,” she added. “Pwede talaga siyang sumali ng beauty contest sa sobrang tangkad.”

And in contrast to what most Filipinos believe that Bea looks to be a very serious and quiet person, Yasmien said, “Madaldal pala.”

“Nonstop ano 'yun, chika. So kailangan may handa lahat ng [chika] rin para meron ka ring ambag," she added.

Finally, Yasmien shared this heartwarming fact about Jeric Gonzales, who plays Dave.

The actress simply called him a “baby boy.”

“Little bro na 'yun ang pagkakakilala ko sa kanya sa set,” she said. “Sobrang ano lang siya—tahimik, tapos mabait na tao, very humble.”
