Michael V. says 'Voltes V: Legacy' trailer 'got me more excited than ever!'

Michael V. is among the millions stoked and excited for "Voltes V: Legacy" after seeing the trailer.

On Facebook, the Kapuso Comedy Genius couldn't hold back giving his two cents after watching the 5-minute bonanza.

"Kinilabutan ako sa ganda! This is my childhood coming to reality!" He began.

"I know, nag-express na ‘ko ng excitement ko sa previous post ko pero this trailer got me more excited than ever!" Michael V. continued.

Clearly a huge fan of the series — and of the upcoming remake — the comedian turned protective and slammed bashers and haters, calling them "‘yung mga nagpapa-cool at naggagaling-galingang."

"Kung hindi talaga kayo fan, wala nang magpapasaya sa inyo kahit sino at kahit kailan. Marami pa rin ang mga nagpapanggap at hindi matanggap na kaya nang gawin ‘to ng network with the right tools, right people and a ton of passion," Michael V. said.

Saying he was downright sold with just the trailer, Michael V. gave director Mark Reyes, the cast, crew, and everyone involved in the production a pat on the back.

"Kudos kay Direk Mark Reyes, sa cast, sa animators and everyone involved sa production ng Voltes V: Legacy!" He said.

"You made me travel back to my childhood and relive a feeling that has long been waiting to be rekindled. I’m looking forward to that feeling in every episode." Michael V. added, and addressing both fans and bashers, he said "to all the fans and the bashers, this show is for you! Wala kahit isa sa inyo ang p’wedeng magnakaw ng saya na naramdaman ko nu’ng napanood ko ‘to."

The "Voltes V: Legacy" trailer was launched during GMA's New Year's Eve countdown on Saturday. It featured a new jaw-dropping cast reveal — Dennis Trillo as Ned Armstrong — and showed footage of Martin del Rosario, Liezel Lopez, Epi Quizon, and Carla Abellana in character and in iconic scenes pulled straight from the anime.
