Even Juancho Triviño's Padre Salvi is shocked at the price of onions

Padre Salvi is back with an adventure in the modern world.

In a new video posted by "Maria Clara at Ibarra" actor Juancho Triviño on Instagram, he, along with his trusty aides Renato (Kiel Rodriguez) and Don Tiburcio (Roven Alejandro), heads to the grocery to buy food for the fiesta of San Diego.

To start with, the trio is shocked to learn that they are allowed to enter without taking off their slippers.

And then when Padre Salvi looked at the prices of the onions they needed, he immediately fainted!

Thankfully, his amigos were there to catch him.

“Napaka mahal niyan!” he said. “Mauubos ang ating indulhensiya na kinukuha sa taumbayan ng San Diego.”

Before leaving, Padre Salvi looked for shampoo to care for his signature hair.

But apparently, after all that time shopping, they did not have any money to pay for their groceries.

“Kwentuhan ang ating dadalhin sa fiesta,” Padre Salvi said. "Vamonos!"

Juancho’s skits as Padre Salvi continue to amuse netizens because his hilarious takes are totally different from the evil character he portrays in “Maria Clara at Ibarra.”

Padre Salvi has also had adventures in a fast-food drive-thru, on GMA’s “TiktoClock,” and in a 24-hour convenience store. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
