Beauty Gonzalez is thrilled to be at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah

Beauty Gonzalez is all smiles ahead of the Sundance Film Festival.

Dressed in a bright pink sweater and mustard pants, the Kapuso actress said on Instagram that she is “Just so happy” to be in Park City, Utah for the event.

Beauty is among the cast members of “In My Mother’s Skin,” which will be having its world premiere on the second day of Sundance.

“We are all so excited for everybody to watch it,” Beauty said in her caption.

She also posted pictures with co-star Jasmine Curtis-Smith and the film’s director Kenneth Dagatan.

“It would be so lovely to walk down the red carpet in such a prestigious event representing our country,” Beauty said. “What an honor and a privilege.”

“In My Mother’s Skin,” is a horror-fantasy film set at the end of World War II in the Philippines. It follows 14-year-old Tala, who seeks out a mysterious fairy to help her dying mother, Ligaya.

The fairy gives Tala a magical insect to cure her dying mother. This initially provides Ligaya with relief, but later leads to disastrous consequences that force Tala to make a distressing decision.

The film also stars Felicity Kyle Napuli, James Mavie Estrella, and Angeli Bayani.

It is the only non-English language film in Sundance’s Midnight Section this year.

Prime Video has acquired the rights to stream the film by the end of the year.
