Boy Abunda apologizes to Bea Alonzo over 2021 interview with Gerald Anderson

Boy Abunda apologized to Bea Alonzo over his 2021 interview with her ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson.

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Tito Boy asked Bea about her feelings when he interviewed Gerald about their relationship two years ago.

"Nagtampo ka sa 'kin?" the King of Talk asked.

"Oo kasi tao lang, Tito Boy," Bea admitted. "Masakit sa 'kin. I was crying."

"And s'yempre, tao lang ako. Kahit sino siguro 'yung mag-interview sa kanya at that time, it would hurt, especially kung half the time he wasn't really telling the truth," she continued.

Boy acknowledged Bea's feelings and offered an apology.

"I apologize," Boy said. "I apologize dahil nasaktan kita."

Boy also told Bea that during the interview, he was thinking of her.

"At the back of my mind, I was thinking about you. That is the truth. Sabi ko, "How will Bea feel?'"

Bea appreciated Boy's apology and said she also wondered if Boy was thinking of her then. She told him that it was "so comforting to know" that he was.

She also said she learned to understood over time that Tito Boy was only doing his job.

"Na-realize ko it's part of your job, and as a great interviewer, alam ko na bawat sides of the story, kailangan mo malaman," Bea said.

"And you actually asked me if I was willing to share my story, but I opted not to. But I appreciate that also," she added.

Meanwhile, when she was asked whether she can be friends with Gerald, Bea said she cannot be friends with someone she cannot trust.

"Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" airs weekdays at 4:05 p.m. on GMA-7.
