This cute banter between Barbie Forteza and David Licauco is making us 'himlay malala'

Barbie Forteza and David Licauco have been making us extra kilig while watching "Maria Clara at Ibarra" thanks to their Twitter banters as Fidel and Klay.

But it seems that chemistry extends beyond their characters, as the Kapuso stars recently landed their first endorsement together and showcased how they banter in real life. 

As seen in Nelson Canlas's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Saturday, Barbie ribbed David about coming to one of his restaurants, Kuya Korea.

"Patikim naman ng Kuya Korea! Diyos ko naman sa tagal nating magkatrabaho hindi ko natitikman 'yun," said the Kapuso Primetime Princess.

"Nahihiya lang talaga akong invite ka doon. Pupunta ka ba pag in-invite kita?" David replied.

Barbie said yes she will visit, if he makes the food free. Of course, David was happy to oblige.

"Sige akong bahala," said the actor.

Barbie did not let it end there, however, and quipped: "Kasi sina Juancho [Triviño] pinagbabayad mo eh."

David was quick to respond: "S'yempre iba 'yun."

As Team FiLay fans would say, "himlay malala!"

But of course, David respects Barbie's relationship with her boyfriend, Jak Roberto.

Barbie also said Jak has been mature about her love team with David and he supportive of their efforts to promote "Maria Clara at Ibarra."
