David Licauco goes on a blind date with a fan on 'Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho'

Out of the thousands of fans that "auditioned," who will be the lucky fan to go on a Valentine's date with David Licauco?

As seen on Sunday's episode of "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho," two fans were selected for the final "blind auditions"— Girlie, an NBSB fangirl from Novaliches, and Nicole, the 'Inday Kikay na Maestra' from Mindanao!

Girlie shared that she would always dream about going on a date with David.

"Maraming beses ko po siyang napapanaginipan, nagde-date daw po kaming dalawa. Ayoko nang matigil 'yung panaginip na 'yun."

["I've dreamt that I was on a date with David Licauco, and I never wanted it to stop."]

She even had photocards made to show support for David!

But Nicole, the second contender who hails from Cagayan de Oro, has no intentions of losing the chance for a date with David.

From Mindanao, Nicole even flew to Manila to go to restaurants owned by David, hoping to have a run-in with the actor, but to no luck.

"Iba 'yung level ng pagka-fan girl ko. First time ko po itong gawin at nang wala akong kasama. Grabe! The things I do for love!"

["I'm such a fan of David! I flew to Manila on my own. Oh, the things I would do for love!"]

Asked why she should be the one to score the date with David, Nicole said,

"Kaya ko pong gawin kahit maghintay sa ibang multi-universe."

["I'd wait for David, in any universe!"]

But between Girlie and Nicole, who will be the lucky girl to go on a date with David Licauco this Valentine's Day?

After rounds of auditions, judges from Resources for the Blind Incorporated chose Nicole to be the fan to go on a date with the actor!

According to the blind audition's judges, Nicole was chosen out of two fans because of how she doesn't only look at David's physical attributes, but also his personality.

David and Nicole went out to enjoy a lovely meal together. The "Maria Clara at Ibarra" actor even brought flowers with him.

The pair talked about a number of things and even did a quick "Fast Talk," where Nicole was asked to choose from David's characteristics or his character Fidel's.

At one point, David made Nicole kilig by saying, "Ako rin, wala akong Valentine this year. Tayo na lang."

["Me too, I don't have someone to spend Valentine's with. Let's spend it together."]

Oh and the hug? She could only say it was a "winning moment."

Nicole flew from Cagayan De Oro to Manila, and looks like it was all worth it!
