Starstruck Season 4 contestant Jan Manual injured in car accident

Starstruck Season 4 contestant Jan Manual is currently receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained in a car accident.
 
Nelson Canlas reported on "24 Oras Weekend" on Saturday that Jan and his wife were traveling to the hospital to get their two-month-old baby vaccinated when their car began to slide down the road.

Jan tried to stop it himself when the handbrake failed.
 
Unfortunately, he got caught between the car and a post.
 
“We’re [glad] talaga na walang galos yung baby ko na yakap yakap ko. Nakita ko nalang po si Jan nung bumangga na sa poste yung kotse. Sumisigaw na siya,” Jan’s wife Jamey said.
 
“Chineck kung merong tama sa pinaka brain. Maga yung brain niya but thank God kasi nag-undergo lang siya ng minor surgery. Dumugo yung cheeks niya tapos maga po yung right ear.”
 
Jan is still under observation. Jamey and his family are asking for prayers and financial help.
 
“Prayers po will really help, and of course, yung love po natin kay Jan, ‘yon po yung mahalaga na tulong talaga,” she said. — Franchesca Viernes/VBL, GMA Integrated News
