‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’ director Zig Dulay thanks team for successful run

“Maria Clara at Ibarra” director Zig Dulay had nothing but gratitude for everyone who built the series.

Sharing behind-the-scenes photos on Facebook, Dulay said it took a lot of people’s efforts to make the show work.

“It takes a village to create a meaningful TV series - thank you to all the villagers,” he wrote.

“Mahalaga ang collaboration para mas lalo pang lumawak at lumakas 'yung boses mo at boses ng pelikula o serye mismo.“

Dulay added it takes a great amount of team work and trust to make their dreams into a reality.

Working on the series, Dulay realized it doesn’t just work based on just a script. It involves every bit of hard work until and even after it airs.

With these, he ended: “Walang hanggang pasasalamat, MCAI Team.
Muchas gracias GMA Drama at Creative Team sa pagkakataon!”

Starring Julie Anne San Jose, Dennis Trillo, Barbie Forteza, and David Licauco, “Maria Clara at Ibarra” is inspired by Dr. Jose Rizal’s novels “Noli Me Tangere” and “El Filibusterismo.”

It will air its finale on Friday. Catch its episodes on GMA Network’s website.
