Alden Richards recalls emotional return to ‘Eat Bulaga’ after over a year

Alden Richards couldn’t help but feel emotional when he returned to “Eat Bulaga” last Saturday.

In Aubrey Carampel’s “24 Oras” report on Thursday, Alden said he received a warm welcome from everyone.

“Si Ma’am Allan K sabi niya na, ‘Kahit saan ka man mapunta sa mundo, kahit gaano man katagal mawala, bukas ang ‘Eat Bulaga’ para sa’yo palagi, Alden Richards,’” he said. “True enough, ‘yon ang nagpatunay du’n.”

Alden had not been on the noontime show for more than a year to focus on other showbiz commitments, his businesses, and his e-sports company.

He is now preparing for other projects, including a movie and television shows. He will also have a hosting job soon.

Alden recently starred in the Philippine adaptation of “Start-Up” with Bea Alonzo and Jeric Gonzales. — Franchesca Viernes/VBL, GMA Integrated News
