Paul Salas opened up on his relationship with one of his ex-girlfriends on Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda."

The ex-girlfriend remained unnamed during the interview, but Paul previously dated Barbie Imperial.

According to a report on PEP.ph, Paul was accused of physically hurting Barbie based on the actress's cryptic posts on social media.

Paul said part of why their relationship did not work is because of his lingering trauma over the split of his parents.

Paul said this is something that he only realized when he started dating Mikee Quintos.

Mikee, for her part, assured Paul that she will always be there beside him to support him.

"Sana kapag may mga times na nati-trigger 'yung mga traumas natin both, I want to assure you na hindi mo kailangan mag-isip or kabahan kasi ikaw naman 'yung lagi kong pipiliin kahit mahirap."

Paul and Mikee are currently starring in GMA Network-Viu Philippines collaboration series "The Write One."
