Jo Berry to play lawyer in upcoming Kapuso series

Jo Berry is set to play a lawyer in an upcoming Kapuso series!

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Jo said the project is still in development and did not disclose details.

"'Yung character ko po dito is matapang na abogado. 'Yun palang po ata ang puwede kong sabihin," she said.

Incidentally, Jo said becoming a lawyer is her late father's dream for her.

To embody the role of an attorney, Jo said she will study several characters that can be used as a peg.

"Ngayon po pinaghahandaan ko siya by watching a lot of series na legal dramas. Para medyo makuha ko na 'yung mga nuances kahit papaano," she said.

Jo previously starred in "Onanay" and "Little Princess."
