TVJ to stay in 'Eat Bulaga,' TAPE Inc.'s Bullet Jalosjos assures

Television and Production Exponent Inc.'s (TAPE) chief financial officer and Dapitan Mayor Bullet Jalosjos assure the public that Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey De Leon, and other "Eat Bulaga" mainstay hosts will remain in the noontime show despite the current development and changes in production.

In Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Bullet said that Tito, Vic, and Joey, also known as the trio "TVJ," will always be a part of "Eat Bulaga."

"They've always been a part and will always be a part of Eat Bulaga," he said.

"Kahit baliktarin natin, hindi talaga sila pwedeng mawala, and 'Eat Bulaga' can’t live without TVJ, and personally, I think, TVJ also cannot live without 'Eat Bulaga'," he added.

Regarding other mainstay hosts of the variety show, including Paolo Ballesteros, Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, and Maine Mendoza, among others, Bullet also assured that they will remain hosts of "Eat Bulaga."

"As of now, wala pong aalis. Abangan na lang ninyo kung sino ang darating," he added, saying there are other celebrities and talents they are welcoming aboard. When asked who they are, Bullet begged off explaining they cannot yet name names.

"We just want to assure the public and everyone else that we're coming up with a more improved 'Eat Bulaga.' We're gonna be adding more shows, bigger prizes, and more exciting segments," he said. — Hermes Joy Tunac/LA, GMA Integrated News
