Liza Soberano meets 'Crazy Rich Asians' author Kevin Kwan in New York

Liza Soberano just met Kevin Kwan, the author of the "Crazy Rich Asians" trilogy, in New York!

On Instagram Stories, the actress shared a photo of her, Kevin, and USA-based writer-director Diane Paragas.

Kevin also reposted their photo.

"Lovely afternoon in Dumbo," Liza wrote.

Diane, who directed the film "Yellow Rose," previously posted a photo of her and Kevin and hinted that they are working on something together.

"Crazy Rich Asians" was adapted into a film in 2018.

Liza, meanwhile, is pursuing a Hollywood career in the United States. Her upcoming project is called "Liza Frankenstein" with actor Cole Sprouse.
