How did Gabby Eigenmann prep for his role on the upcoming TV series, "Voltes V: Legacy"?

He put on weight.

On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Thursday, Gabby talked about one of the ways he prepared to play his character, Commander Robinson.

"I actually gained weight for it," he said.

"Well, I was gaining weight due to pandemic, but it helped me really build that character kasi Commander Robinson is really big sa cartoons," he added, saying he is a big fan of the original Japanese show.

Commander Robinson is the father of Jamie Robinson of Voltes 5 team's. Ysabel Ortega plays Jamie.

Other cast members include Dennis Trillo and Carla Abellana.
