Raphael Landicho reveals he kept outgrowing his 'Voltes V: Legacy' costume as Little Jon

Raphael Landicho, the bunso of the "Voltes V: Legacy cast, was only seven years old when they began filming the series.

It took them the better part of three years to finish the project due to the pandemic, so now Raphael is 10 years old.

On Monday's "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the King of Talk wondered if that meant that the child actor had to switch to a different size of costume.

Raphael, who was the guest of the episode along with the rest of the "Voltes V: Legacy" main cast, sheepishly admitted to Tito Boy that he had to do it "twice or thrice."

Of course, it's only natural that Raphael will outgrow his costumes for the show over time.

He even had to stop shooting for over a year due to the safety protocols for those under 15 years old during the community quarantine.

Raphael plays the role of Little Jon, the younger brother of Steve Armstrong and Big Bert. He is the pilot of the Volt Frigate, which becomes the legs of the Voltes V robot.

During the "Fast Talk" portion of the show, he also shared that his favorite weapon of Voltes V is the laser sword.

"Voltes V: Legacy" will premiere on Monday, May 8, on GMA Telebabad after "24 Oras."
