Matteo Guidicelli proudly looks back on Albay trip with Susan Enriquez for ‘Unang Hirit’

Matteo Guidicelli and “SanG” partner, Susan Enriquez, just went to Albay to deliver relief goods and check on the situation of the Mayon volcano.

On Instagram, Matteo proudly looked back on his first remote coverage experience as he stood “shoulder to shoulder” with the “Unang Hirit” team.

“Proudly standing shoulder to shoulder with the @unanghirit team, broadcasting live from Albay,” he wrote. “Our objective? Steadfast and clear - to bring support to our kababayans that had to be relocated due to the level 3 warning from Mayon Volcano.”

Together with the GMA Kapuso Foundation, they were able to give out 700 relief packages.

“As dawn broke, Mayon presented us with a sight to behold - a spectacle. let's stay safe, stay strong, and keep faith that the volcano will stabilize,” Matteo added, saying he is "proud to be part of this mission.”

Netizens who witnessed the “SanG” tandem’s charming team-up applauded the duo, with one user writing, “Sobrang nae-enjoy ng family namin ang tandem niyo ni Ms. Susan, tawa kami ng tawa every morning.”

Another user added, “Kakatuwa ang SanG puro good vibes at tawanan lang!”

Matteo has clearly come a long way from his “Unang Hirit” debut in May, when he could not stop greeting his wife, Sarah Geronimo.

In the same month, he officially became a Kapuso after signing a contract with the network.
