Anne Curtis says coming back to GMA feels 'nostalgic'

Following the contract signing of "It's Showtime" and GMA Network's GTV, Anne Curtis looked back on her time as a Kapuso artist.

Way back, everybody’s favorite dyosa had memorable roles on “T.G.I.S.,” “Nuts Entertainment,” and “Bubble Gang.”

“[It’s] nostalgic in a way to see familiar faces again,” she told GMA Integrated News during an interview. “I’m just very, very excited and happy.”

Anne added that she never lost contact with the GMA bosses. “I still did a film with GMA. Because I’m with Viva, I’m still able to do projects with GMA naman. So it’s kind of like a coming home,” she said.

The actress also said she is looking forward to maybe seeing Kapuso and Kapamilya stars on the same stage.

Her dream artist to have on the noontime show? "My sister, Jasmine,” Anne said with a big smile.

"It's Showtime" will have its GTV premiere on July 1 at 11:30 a.m., after which it will air on GTV from Monday to Saturday at 12 n.n.

In a speech at the contract signing event, GMA Network’s Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon said that “TV war is over.” ABS-CBN’s President and CEO Carlo L. Katigbak also thanked GMA for the kindness.

Anne and her co-host Kim Chiu turned emotional at the event.

GTV on Channel 27, also known as Good Television, is a Philippines free-to-air television network wholly owned by GMA Network. Among its programs include "Balitanghali," "Dapat Alam Mo!" and "Farm to Table." It also airs the NCAA. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
